3. Fibro-proliferative stage.

• It starts from 2-10 days of the insult.

• The healing process takes place in this stage.

• The cellular granulation and collagen deposition takes place in the lung.

• The alveloli become large and irregular in shape and pulmonary capillaries are scarred and

obliterated.
