In-store stocking is maximising the amount
of display and forward stock and minimizing
the stock in reverse.
Warehouse stocking is used where stocking in
the store may not be feasible. This is used
especially for Fast Moving Consumer Goods
(FMCG) products that are stocked in a warehouse
and only few pieces are on display in the store.
Contract warehousing is warehousing and
distribution activities are outsourced to a third
party.
