Floral Curtains
Floral curtain is basically made of strings of simple garlands. In our lesson,
we use flowers that are commonly available in local Thai flower markets such as
crown flowers, small white gardenias, jasmine, globe amaranths, and marigolds.
Thread and needle are materials and equipment that we use to create this uncom-
plicated floral creation. When in use, strings of garlands can be hung straight
down to the same or different levels depending on the designs. With these floral
curtains, the Thai people decorate the frames of windows and doors of their homes
and their party venues to brighten up the spaces and to welcome the guests on
special occasions.
