WELCOMING REMARKS

You are one of the thousands of lucky students given a place to continue to dig for
knowledge in one of the best universities. The Faculty of Social Sciences and
Humanities is one of the earliest faculties established at UNIMAS. FSSH offers
students knowledge, knowledge and experience through various courses and
programs based on social science and humanities. The learning environment has a
conducive research and learning environment, in line with the Faculty's mission to
form a superior level of teaching, learning and research in the social sciences and
humanities, cultivate the nature of striving for excellence and integrity in
scholarship and social sciences and humanities research and contribute to the
development of society and the country in the context of intellectuals.

FSSK offers courses and study programs to meet your ambitions and is always
tailored to the needs of the job market environment. We strive to prepare students
to achieve their learning objectives through the latest curriculum with an emphasis
on interdisciplinary learning, teaching and research methods. To this end,
academics and students at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities are
encouraged to engage in cross-disciplinary research and cultivate the nature of
scholars through networking with institutions of higher learning at home and
abroad. As one of the big members of the FSSK family, you are sure to be proud
of the achievements of the researchers at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. The breadth of research reflects
not only excellence in their discipline but also the ability to provide answers to questions and issues that transcend
disciplinary boundaries.

This handbook provides important information related to the study program you have chosen and is expected to be a
guide and mentor to help achieve success in your learning. Understanding is mainly related to the curriculum structure
of your choice of study and applying all the rules provided as this will determine the development and direction of your
studies throughout your stay at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
