AFRICAN DIPLOMATS IN INDIA
n a meeting with the trade representative from the High
ICommission of Ghana in New Delhi, it was discussed to
create a special business zone in Ghana for Indian businesses
especially small scale players. Setting up of hospitals and
taking higher medical technology to Ghana was another
piece of advice from the Ghanaian offi cials. Furthermore, it
was mutually agreed to establish a Center of Excellence by
IETO’s Africa board for food processing, IT and agriculture
industries.
Ms. Josephine Ntyam Andeme, Charge d’ Aff airs of
Gabon to India discussed trade related issues and especially
to set up a Furniture Corridor between India and Gabon. It
was mutually agreed upon to expand trade as well to have a
balanced approach. Collaborations with Bollywood and other
Indian film industries form an important area. Hardwood
from Gabon has a very elite quality and could be an element
