WHO WE ARE
Teach for the Bay is a consortium of community college
based Teacher Preparation Programs in the SF Bay Area.
Our primary goal is to increase the number of future
teachers transferring from a community college through the
provision of resources, courses and supports. This regional
joint venture is funded by the San Francisco Bay Area,
Strong Workforce Program, Regional Joint Venture (ECE/EDU
Apprenticeship RJV), California Community Colleges and the
National Science Foundation ATE Project, "Growing STEM
and CTE Teachers". Co-sponsored by the Center for Science
and Mathematics at SFSU.
