This workshop will explore how to co-regulate
ourselves as adults in order to create safety for
children. What are cues of relational safety for
children? How do we determine a child's neuroceptive
state? How can play be central to children's healing
process? We will introduce tools from polyvagal theory
and Dr. Mona Delahooke's work to help re-vision and
re-understand the roots of overstimulated behavior and
how adults can help children to regulate themselves.
