AN ENG A GING S TUDENT EXPERIENCE
As a nervous freshman coming to Catholic Memorial and the only
student from her middle school, Lana Belmontes was encouraged by
teachers and staff members to get involved in the over 80 sports, clubs
and activities offered at CMH to meet new people. Lana took their
advice and played on the volleyball team, joined the Inclusiveness Team
and participated in activities with the ARTT Club during her first year.
Lana was able to really gain confidence and find her place as a leader
immediately because of the support she received from the amazing
community at CMH.

CMH hosted a Community Service Fair for nonprofits to connect The CMH Girls Soccer Team hosted multiple
with CMH students and discuss opportunities to volunteer. TOPSoccer events during the school year where

confidence and foster lasting relationships.
