More Information Required – At the time of inspection one or more questions arose regarding the class of
system, location of components, water source, pumping, maintenance and/or operation of the system
System Replacement Required – At the time of inspection if it was determined that the onsite system was not
being maintained or operated properly and was posing or could pose a risk to human health or the environment.
System Status
Every septic system requires regular maintenance to
ensure it is operating efficiently and safely. System
deficiencies are generally classified as a remedial work
items. The following table illustrates the most common
deficiencies found during the re-inspection program.
