ABSTRACT
In line with the development of information technology, demand for business or
commerce via the internet or more commonly known as e-commerce has increased.
Extensively e-commerce can be defined as a modern methodology that meets the
needs of organizations, commerce and customers to reduce costs, improve service
quality and improve rate of transmission of information and services. Most small
retail businesses of spices company do not have their own company website and the
company is still not widely distributed among the general public. Additionally, the
company also has no e-catalog of products to promote their products in promotions
during the festive season to customers and this company does not provide online
payment facilities for users doing business with the company. The development of
this e-commerce site is to be able to promote small retail business to the public
online and introduce the products offered by this company with the e-product
catalog. It also enables customers to make payments online with online banking
services in the company's e-commerce site. The System Development Life Cycle
(SDLC) which has been used in developing the Rempah Ratus Mak Siti retail
business e-commerce site. With the construction of this e-commerce site, the
company's business can be managed more easily and quickly. Then customers can
choose the items offered by the company via e-catalog and according to their
capabilities accordingly and customers can also make payments online.
