Food Pantry News for October

For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. – Psalm 107:9

Thank you to our volunteers! We appreciate your reliable help in serving at the Shadowwood food distribution,
transporting food from the food bank, unloading food onto our food pantry shelves, and delivering food to those in
need. And thanks to our congregation for your support of our church’s food pantry through your contributions and
     prayers.

                                     • About 150 sack lunches are made every week for Canteen Run.

 At Shadowwood on September 3, food was distributed to 21 families, a total of

                                                   The Canteen Run

Runs on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights.

Matthew 22:38-40 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as
yourself.’[a] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Wouldn't that be a great news that everyone loved each other? Can you imagine no more wars.? No more includes

a negative outcome? What, "A wonderful Life", (that is one of my favorite movies.)

We got to meet 148 guests this week. Our current needs are socks, Socks,
     SOCKS.
