Savoy UMC Celebrating 150 years!!
November 2019
From a train depot, the maple grove behind Senator’s Inn, 210 Church Street, 402 Graham Drive and
now 3002 W Old Church Road, Savoy United Methodist Church has been many places over its 150
years. No matter what location, the Savoy UMC has been a loving, caring church family worshiping
and serving God.
On Sunday, November 10 we will begin our year-long observance of this milestone with one
worship service followed by a church family meal. More details will be coming, but for now we
want you to put this date on your calendar.
Look forward to learning more about the church’s history and plans for the future over the coming
months as we celebrate God’s faithfulness to us.
