Chapter/Verse Adult Bible Study—Sundays from 3:30-4:30 pm at the church in the crossroads
room. Led by Jana Waite jlwaite@sbcglobal.net or 351-9386. **NO meeting on Jan 6th**
Beginning January 13, we will begin a study of the Gospel of Mark. Mark writes the first Gospel, the first telling of
the Good News. Mark has no agenda except to simply tell the story of Jesus, recording what the Apostle Peter re-
members. And the simplicity of his story is an invitation to savor each and every detail. Mark is also the shortest
Gospel. His brevity demands our attention because it is a book of action and passion, one event quickly building on
another. Accompany Mark on his journey with Jesus, because the more clearly we see Jesus, the more passionately
we want to be like him.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study—Tuesdays at 9:30 am at the church
On Tuesday mornings, we meet to study the Bible and apply the truth we encounter to our lives and the situations
we are facing. We are currently studying James and would love for others to journey with us! Led by Marc Brown

Chick Chat—Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM
Chick Chat meets at the church on Thursdays at 9am. We do not always eat out, as our photos show. Most of the
time we have great discussions while learning more of God. It is not too late to join us as we follow Louie Giglio's
study of Colossians with Right Now Media. Contact Cindy Cook r-cook@illinois.edu
Youth Bible Study—Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm at the church
Guys and girls will meet separately and study through scripture in an environment where friendships will grow
deeper, our insight into scriptures will become greater and our identity as children of God will become more
clear! Led by Rebeccah Anderson rebeccah@savoyumc.org
