Preface

The eBook: EXIM for beginner was written especially
for Diploma in International Business students at

selected polytechnics. This e-book is filled with

information to give students a ready reference and

instructional material for export and import practices. It
is designed to enable students to learn by themselves

or by the guidance of instructors to discover new issues

and terminologies related to export and import
practices specifically in Malaysia. Due to the pandemic

Covid-19 situation, students are preferred to use e-

learning resources and applications in higher

education institutions. Therefore, e-book seems to be
relevant for online learning material to undertake

teaching and learning process remotely.

Furthermore, this e-book contained multi-media
elements not available with traditional books such as

audio, video and hyperlinks to engage students with

interactive content. This e-book has been written
purposely according to the latest polytechnic’s syllabus.

Moreover, students will notice that this e-book has been

simplified to meet the needs of non-native English
speakers, especially in Malaysia. We hope this e-book

will help accommodate the learning process among

students as it can be accessed anywhere and anytime.
