1.1 Export And Import In International Business
What is Import?
Imports are commodities and services purchased
from another country by citizens, businesses, and
governments. It makes no difference what the
imports are or how they are delivered. They can
be sent, emailed, or even carried on a plane as
personal luggage. Imports are goods that are
made in another country and sold to people in
the Malaysia.
Importer is a person, country,
or company that buys products from
another country in order to sell them.
Importing refers to buying goods and services
from foreign sources and bringing them back into
the home country. Importing is also known as
global sourcing.
