REASON 1 –GOD IS WITH YOU!

“You alone know when I sit down and when I get up. You read my thoughts from

far away. You watch me when I travel and when I rest. You are familiar with all

my ways. Even before there is a ⌊single⌋ word on my tongue, you know all about it,

Lord. You are all around me—in front of me and in back of me. You lay your

hand on me.

Part of trusting God is being confident that He is with you. It is next to

impossible to trust someone who always lies or doesn’t do what they say they are

going to do, but God is not like that at all. David lets us know this in Psalm 139

that God is all around us – in front of us and in back of us. God is all around us no

matter where we go. We can draw confidence from this verse because we are

assured, that God is with us. He knows us. He hears us. He lays His hands upon

us. David says that even before we speak, God already knows what we are going
to say, (which should make us think twice about lying right). What an amazing

thought - the God of the universe is with us and He will never leave us nor forsake
us. That even when things are not going the way we would like them to go or the

way we expected them to go, God is right there with us. We can draw confidence
in the fact that the same God who spoke the Sun and the Moon into being; the

same God who shaped Adam with His own hand – this same God has His hand on

our lives and He is with us.
