In addition to its collections in criminal justice, the LRC offers
NCJA Learning Resource Center popular magazines and movies on DVD. Visit our catalog at

Our hours of operation are as follows (excepting holidays
and special/reduced hours):
The Learning Resource Center is an integral part of the
North Carolina Justice Academy. Located on the East
Campus, it provides library and technology services LRC HOURS OF OPERATION
to Academy students and law enforcement personnel 8:00am – 7:00pm, Monday – Thursday
throughout the state: the LRC offers lifetime library 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday
membership to its law enforcement patrons. Housing over 910-525-4151 x 300
23,000 books, journals, magazines, reference materials,
and technical manuals, the LRC also maintains special A/V HOURS OF OPERATION
collections of law enforcement lesson plans, policy 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
manuals from North Carolina police agencies, and training 910-525-4151 x 257
videos. Library materials are available free of charge and
can be shipped at no cost (except return postage).
