How Trash Affects the Environment

Trash is very bad for the
environment and why throw away
trash when we can recycle? It’s so
much better for the environment.
When trash rots it creates a gas
called methane which is also called a
greenhouse gas. Too much
greenhouse gas changes the world’s
climate and makes it hotter. Methane
is 21 more times powerful than carbon
dioxide.
Trash also causes dust, pests, noise
and odor.
