Siti was very hungry, she ate the pickled mangoes from the kitchen that preserved by her mother last
three months. She was very surprised that the mangoes still can be eaten.
Siti: Mom, why the mangoes is still in good condition?
Mother: This is because I soaked the mangoes in vinegar. The low pH of vinegar prevents the growth
of microorganisms in mangoes.
