1. Family class (closely related persons of
Malaysian residents living in Malaysia)
2. Economic immigrants (skilled workers and
business people)
3. People who accepted as immigrants for
humanitarian or compassionate reasons
4. Refugees (people who are escaping
persecution, torture or cruel and unusual
punishment).
As one of the largest
economies in Southeast
Asia, Malaysia is an
attractive destination for
workers from neighboring
countries looking for
better wages and jobs.
Therefore, the number of
immigrants in Malaysia is
increasing every year
