ค ำที่ลงท้ำยด้วย -al, -ate, -ble, -lly, -lar, -ment, -y, -ty, -ful, - -tor, -ter, -cial, -cious, -graphy จะลงเสียงหนัก

ness, -ing, -er, -ed, -ize, -ary พยำงค์ที่ 2 นับจำกท้ำยหรือพยำงค์หน้ำ suffix เช่น
จะลงเสียงหนักที่พยำงค์ที่ 3 นับจำกท้ำย เช่น -ter minister presenter habiter
