also enjoyed a nice lunch, which
Keystone provided for the tour
attendees and their employees.
The last stop was Kitchenview
Custom Cabinets, an Amish family
business that operates all of
its equipment using hydraulics;
electricity is produced with a
diesel engine and solar panels.
Kitchenview is also undergoing a
Lean transition.
Wood Pro Expo began the next
morning with a keynote by Will
Sampson (one of the founders
of the CMA; see his article about
CMA history in this issue); after
the keynote, participating CMA
members had a chance to explore
the offerings on the show floor.
