NOTIFICATION

All expatriates except wives and children under the sponsorship of their family members are required to
obtain a business leave notification when leaving Qatar. The employer is responsible for arranging the
business leave notification. Authorized users may complete the procedure online, through the MOI
self-service machine, MOI website’s E-service, or in person through General Directorate for Borders
Passports and Expatriates Affairs.
Please also note that Total in Qatar requires that employees should send a POB email to
pob.qatar@total.com as notification when leaving the country.
