Husband and Wife team, Kevin and Karen have been collecting vintage and collectable
items for some years and along with Karen making her own vintage inspired crafts and
Kevin having the usual boys and toys interests has led them to opening their own shop
in Charminster Road, Bournemouth. It is a unique style shop in that it is actually two
shops in one!
In Karen’s half, ‘The Vintage Fairy’ you will fi nd genuine vintage household items,
upcycled/reworked pieces, handmade crafts with a vintage feel , gift ideas and original
photographic cards. Karen also off ers a bespoke upcycling service on your own piece
of old furniture in your style!
On Kevin’s side ‘Superhero Toys specialises in family favourite superheroes ranging
from Mr Tumble and Peppa Pig for the little ones to Star Wars and Marvel characters
for the ‘big kids’. There is a good range of aff ordable collectables and quality pre-loved
toys to suit any budget. You can even trade in your own unwanted toy against a new
one! Or bring in a kids book or DVD and swap it for free!
It is a shopping experience for all the family, Dads and kids can keep themselves
amused while the ladies browse homestyle ideas, Its defi nitely worth a visit!
