Our Aims are fi rstly to provide two sessions of illustrates talks
From January to Easter, to stimulate members’ interest and increase their knowledge about the archaeology,
architecture, fl ora and fauna, geography, history and people of the Local Area.
From September to December, to satisfy members’ interest in general topics with no geographical limits.
Secondly to organise a programme of visits...
During Spring and Early Summer, afternoon and evening visits are arranged within the locality often
supplementing the talks. Additionally, three full day visits of interest further afi eld are arranged.
