Technology Leadership and Accountability
The Technology Plan Evaluation will assess our current resources and uses of technology

in order to implement technology more effectively into the classroom. A team of discerning
leaders within each grade level will choose technology policies and procedures that promote
achievement by all students and carefully monitor the success of technology use throughout the
school.

At the beginning of the 2015/2016 school year, a new Technology Committee will be
formed. The committee will be directed by the Educational Technologist (per that position’s job
description) who will oversee the committee’s activities. The Educational Technologist will
work alongside school administration to implement the changes necessitated by the technology
plan and the decisions of the committee. The Educational Technologist will also be responsible
for delegating the ideas, themes, and purposes of the Technology Committee to its members.

Three divisional representatives will coordinate with the Educational Technologist to
conduct meetings to discuss and evaluate the implementation of the items in the plan. The
Educational Technologist will lead the committee in facilitating the development of ideas and
implementations within the committee and then within the school.

Each division will be represented on the technology committee. The representative will
be a voluntary position held by someone who has a passion for technology advancement within
his or her division. As decisions are made and actions are taken by the technology committee,
the division representatives will relay that information to their division. A representative from
each division will ensure that the specific needs of that division are recognized. The remainder
of the committee will be made up of volunteers who desire to see technology advanced through
