Manchester Parks & Recreation and the Kiwanis Club of Manchester joined together for
nd
the 2 Annual Easter Basket Giveaway on Sunday, April 10th. Rain had delayed the distri-
bution, but the Easter Bunny made the hop from Saturday to Sunday. Donations were col-
lected and baskets were assembled by many Kiwanis volunteers. Over 350 children up to
age 12 were able to receive a basket full of books, toys and candy. Pictures were taken
with the Easter Bunny at Derryfield Park and Rock Rimmon Park. Everyone involved had a
really heartwarming time despite the chilly spring temperatures.
