On listening to the President’s tirade, we discussed for a moment. We,
soon agreed the President’s deal. However, unlike the other inventions
that we had done before, this was a total uphill struggle. We could hardly
find the formula of the medicine. Days turned to months and there was no
sight of progress in our invention. Being truly offended, I studied every
element again for the umpteenth time, desperately willing for a
breakthrough. Luckily, I somehow did find out the formula of the
medicine. Without any further delay, we started inventing the medicine.
Couples of failures later, in my palm, rested the medicine that could
possibly change the fate of the entire world. We named the medicine
“Transeo Pectineum”. Without any ado, I ringed up the American embassy
and the call was forwarded to the President.
“Sir, it’s me Jordan here. We’ve successfully invented the serum that you
craved for but with a few amendments. The serum does really cater for
your needs by making your soldiers more aggressive and intelligent yet, it
will also transform your army members into werewolf. They can still
distinguish their allies and enemies, though. So, does this serum suit your
taste, sir?”
“I’m totally flabbergasted to the core. I couldn’t be any happier. Maybe
you should hand over the serum to me tonight”.
“I’m afraid I can’t, sir. This serum must be in a tolerable heat range. If not,
the consequences will be appalling. Just ring me up before the war starts
and I’ll pass it to you, concealing it in a fridge-like box”.
“Alright. I’ll go by your instincts. Be alert all the time. You can receive the
message at any moment.”
On the very night of 30th of August 1939, amidst a freezing night, we
heard a loud din in the laboratory. Feeling something was amiss, we
pursued the source of the commotion and got to know a Japanese
syndicate stealthily making his way to the serum. Without thinking twice,
we bashed him up to our hearts’ content and handed him over to the
cops. 8 0
