        f   The International Mother Language Day (IMLD) is observed annually on 21 February to raise awareness
          regarding linguistic and cultural diversity and to promote multilingualism. The theme of the Day this year,
          “Fostering multilingualism for inclusion in education and society”.
        f  Central Excise Day is celebrated every year on February 24 across India. The day is being celebrated to
          honour the service of the Central Board of Excise and Custom (CBEC) to the country. The day is celebrated
          to honour the officers associated with CBEC and their services. This is done to encourage the officers to
          carry out their duties with utmost sincerity.

        f  World NGO Day is celebrated every year on 27th February globally. World NGO Day aims to inspire people
          to  become  more  actively  involved  within  NGOs  (Charities,  NPOs,  CSOs)  and  encourage  a  greater
          symbiosis between NGOs and both the public and private sector.  In India, February 27th is celebrated as
          the National Protein Day to create awareness about protein deficiency and encourage people to include
          this macronutrient in their diet. This year theme of National Protein Day is "Powering with Plant Protein".
          2021 marks the second year for this nutritional awareness milestone in India by 'Right to Protein'.

        f  National Science Day is celebrated all over India on 28th February. On this day, Sir CV Raman had
          announced the discovery of the Raman Effect for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1930. The
          government of India designated 28 February as National Science Day (NSD) in 1986. The theme for this
          year's National Science Day is 'Future of STI: Impact on Education Skills and Work'.

        f  Rare Disease Day is observed every year on the last day of February. This year in 2021 it falls on February
          28, 2021

        f  Zero Discrimination Day is an annual day celebrated on 1 March each year by the United Nations and other
          international organisations. The theme of Zero Discrimination Day 2021: “End Inequalities”.
        f  The Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) observes the “Civil Accounts Day” every year on March 01, 2021,
          since its inception in 1976. The year 2021 marks the 45th Civil Accounts Day celebrations. ICAS is one of
          the Civil Services of India, under the Department of Expenditure, Union Ministry of Finance.
        f  World Hearing Day is held on 3 March each year by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to raise
          awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care across the
          world.  The  theme  of  World  Hearing  Day  2021  is  Hearing  care  for  ALL!:  Screen,  Rehabilitate,
          Communicate.
        f  World Wildlife Day is observed globally on the 3rd of March every year to celebrate the beautiful and
          varied forms of wild fauna and flora present on earth. World Wildlife Day will be celebrated in 2021 under
          the theme “Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet”.
       f  The National Safety Day (NSD) is celebrated every year on 4 March by the National Safety Council (NSC)
          of India. In 2021, we are observing the 50th National Safety Day. The National Safety Day Theme 2021 is
          “Sadak Suraksha (Road Safety)”.
       f  In India, March 4 is celebrated as National Security Day (Rashtriya Suraksha Diwas) every year, in the
          honor of the Indian Security Forces. 4 March also marks the day when the National Security Council (NSC)
          of India was established, in 1966 by the Ministry of Labour under the Government of India. The first
          National Security Day (NSD) was held in 1972.
       f  International Women's Day is celebrated on the 8th of March every year. This day celebrating the social,
          economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This year's theme for International Women Day,
          “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”, celebrates the tremendous efforts
          by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19
