SEPTEMBER 2019 DOGGIERESCUE.COM MAGAZINE 15
The other day we were heading back home and a group of
commuters were passing by from the train station I got him to sit
and he just watched them without reacting whilst looking at me for
his treats. I was so impressed as I was initially worried that he would
freak out at the amount of people and I would have had to pick him
up or walk back around the block.
He is very good when I'm at work. He only barks out of excitement
when he hears my car pull up. My neighbours were surprised when
they found out I even had him as he's so quiet during the day, which
was reassuring for me. He does have a bit of separation anxiety
though when I'm leaving so he gets a good bone as I leave for work.
A FEARFUL BOY WHOSE
LONG JOURNEY FINALLY LED
HIM TO A FOREVER HOME...
His favourite thing in the world right now is his squeaky ball that he
has chewed to death. He prefers this one to the ball that's still intact
and somehow still manages to make it squeak! When I'm cooking,
he will drop the ball at my feet and every couple of minutes I turn
and kick the ball away for him to chase. It's become part of the
process and all a bit of fun!
“ I'm learning things about him all the time and all in all we
are doing great!” Sai
