     FEATURE Article THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT

                                       JARRAH!

This gorgeous boy is Jarrah, he's approximately one year old and a Kelpie x
Staffy. He has the smarts of a Kelpie (loves his enrichment toys, working out
how to get the treats out of a game) and the heart of a staffy he loves to have his
humans around and when he's with you he must be touching you! Jarrah is
looking for a home where someone is around most of the time as he doesn't like
By: JEN BARBOUR to be left alone, at the kennels he is happiest out for a walk or when someone
DoggieRescue Volunteer has gone into his yard for snuggles and they just sit with him.

“ Like most staffys he is struggling in the shelter environment
and needs to find a home, shelters are a high stress environment
which staffys don't cope with. They need a calm environment
with people who love and understand them.”

                                                                Sponsor: “ Wishing you a
                                                                very Happy New Year!”
                                                                Jen, Angus & Phoenix

What drew me to Jarrah was those
beautiful eyes that light up when he smiles,
anyone who ever says a dog can't smile
has never met a staffy! He is affectionate
without being slobbery and a little goofy—
he was hilarious while we were taking his
photos with the hat he would sit perfectly
and the second the camera is pointed at
him he rolls over for a belly rub.

When we were finished with photos Jarrah
took a moment to sit by my side, leaning in
for a snuggle and just let out a contented
sigh, all he wants is to be loved and he will
love you with his big staffy heart in return.

Jarrahs New Years Resolution is to find his
forever home, please share his photo and
profile on social media to help him achieve
this! He needs a home with a garden for
when the zoomies hit and a home based
worker as he does not like to be left alone.
