Ladies Kennel Association Catalogue
          This Show is held under the Rules and Regulations of the
                              East Africa Kennel Club

     Judging commences at 9.00 a.m. on both days of the Show and the Show will close at 5.30
     p.m. on both days.
     Children must not wander unattended amongst dogs, and the Ladies Kennel
     Association will not be responsible for any incidents resulting from failure to observe
     this Rule.

     EXTRACTS FROM THE SHOW REGULATIONS
     ·  No animal other than an exhibit will be allowed within the precincts of the Show.
        Spectators may not attract a dogs attention whilst it is being shown.  Failure to observe
        this Rule may result in disqualification of the dog.  The Ring Steward is directed to draw
        the Judge's attention to any infringement of this Rule.
     ·  Entry Form or Catalogue errors should be drawn to the attention of the Show Manager
        immediately.  (a)  A dog entered in a class for which it is ineligible as regards breed, colour,
        sex, weight or height, will be transferred to the equivalent class for correct breed, colour,
        sex, weight or height, or in the event of there being no equivalent class, to the Open
        Class. (b)  A dog entered in a class for which it is ineligible for any other reason will be
        transferred to the Open Class only.
     ·  Dogs may not be removed before the official show closing time of 5.30 p.m.
        approximately unless (a) The programme has been completed earlier than anticipated, (b)
        a Veterinary Surgeon considers that the dog should be removed, (c) special permission
        has been obtained from the Show Manager.  However when split timing is applied, dogs
        which have been judged in the morning of each day may be removed from the
        Showground after 1 pm, or may remain all day.  Dogs exhibited in the afternoon however,
        may not be removed until the close of the Show on each day.
     ·  The Show Committee is empowered to remove or exclude any dog not in a fit state for
        exhibition, owing to disease, savage disposition, or any other cause.  The Judge may order
        an exhibit from the Ring if in the Judge's opinion it is unsafe, uncontrollable or unfit for
        competition.
        No dog shall be absent except for the purpose of being judged or exercised for a
        maximum of fifteen minutes, or by order of the Veterinary Surgeon or a member of the
        Show Committee.
     · No dog shall be exhibited in the ring except on a lead, without the express permission of
        the Judge.
     · No dog shall be exhibited in a harness.
     · Any member of the Show Committee may require a dog  to be placed on a lead or be
        otherwise adequately controlled.


            IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE HANDBAGS OR VALUABLES
      UNATTENDED ON THE SHOWGROUND AT ANY TIME AS THERE HAVE BEEN
