Ladies Kennel Association Catalogue
     · Prize Cards, Award Cards and Rosettes may be displayed , but not in the Ring except for
        Group and/or Best in Show Classes.
     · After admission to a Show, a dog may not be withdrawn from competition in any class in
        which it has been entered, except (a) If the Judge announced in the Schedule is changed
        the dog may be withdrawn before the commencement of judging and removed from the
        Show. (b) A dog permitted by the Judge to be withdrawn after its first class, which is not
        then eligible for any further class. (c) Where classes are judged after the authorised time
        for removal of exhibits. (d) A Veteran dog declared Best of Breed and awarded a
        Challenge Certificate may be withdrawn from Variety (Any Breed) Veteran Classes,
        thereafter being eligible only for competition for Group Judging.
     · Dogs eligible for the Puppy Criterion are: (a) The winners of Puppy Classes, however when
        a Puppy Class is offered for a Breed, puppies entered in other classes only, and not
        entered in the Puppy Class are not eligible. (b) Where NO Puppy Class is offered for a
        breed, the Judge shall nominate the best puppy in the breed. (c) Where separate classes
        are provided for puppy dogs and bitches, the Judge must nominate the better puppy of
        the two.
     · Dogs eligible for Group Judging are: (a) Those awarded Best of Breed, provided they have
        been awarded a Challenge Certificate if offered for the Breed.  Where no Challenge
        Certificates are offered to a Breed, the Best of Breed shall be eligible.  A puppy that wins
        Best of Breed remains eligible even if beaten in the Puppy Criterion, (b) The winner of
        best Veteran in Show if not beaten in a Breed Class.
     · Unless stated otherwise, Challenge Certificates will be offered to all Breeds classified, but
        the Judge will be reminded to withhold Certificates if he/she does not consider the
        exhibit worthy of the title 'Champion'.  The Judge is entitled to withhold any award.
     · PLEASE NOTE: CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8 YEARS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE IN
        CHARGE OR CONTROL OF A DOG WITHIN THE PRECINCTS OF THE SHOWGROUND

     JUNIOR HANDLING CLASSES
     · These will be held on Sunday during the lunch hour. These classes are for exhibits led into
        the Ring and exhibited by a child permitted to handle a dog which is the property of any
        exhibitor at the Show.
     · Points won in these classes will count towards the JUNIOR HANDLER OF THE YEAR
        TROPHY TO BE AWARDED AT THE OCTOBER SHOW.
                    Ages:    8 to 12 years              13 to 18 years
                    Under 8 years (fun class, not for competition ) will be run at this show
     · The finalists from the two competition classes will be required to exchange dogs during
        the handling before the winner of THE BEST JUNIOR HANDLER OF THE SHOW is decided.


     Classes without entries have been omitted from this catalogue in an effort to save space, for
     an original class list, please refer to your schedule.



       At the close of Judging on Sunday, everyone is invited to stay on for an
                      opportunity to meet the Judge informally.
