OUR JUDGE - Barbara Müller

I grew up with Newfoundlands and German
Shepherds and dogs have been part of my life
ever since.

At 8 years of age I went to training classes with
"my" first German Shepard. Since then the Dog
World became more and more important to me.

The first English Cocker Spaniel arrived in my house in 1970. In 1973 I started
breeding Spaniels, followed by Old English Sheepdogs and Petit Basset Griffon
Vendeen under the "Pennylane" prefix. I have bred, trained and handled many
National and International Champions, European Winner and World Winners.

In 1980, the Swiss Kennel Club (SKG) confirmed me as a judge and in 2012 I was
approved to judge all FCI breeds.

In 2006 I became a member of the Swiss Kennel Club Board and President of
the Judges and Show Commission. In 2010 I became a member of the FCI
Europe Section Committee. I was Vice President from 2014 to 2019. I was also
President of the FCI Show Commission and in 2019 was appointed a member of
the FCI General Committee.

I have judged in most European countries, England, Australia, South America,
USA and Asia - this includes many National Specialties, European Winner and
several World Dog Shows. I was very honoured to be invited to judge at the
World Dog Show in 2021.

I am very happy to have been asked to judge the Ladies Kennel Association of
Kenya Show and look forward to meeting you all.
