                           DEFINITION OF BEAUTY CLASSES
      MINOR PUPPY    For dogs of three and not exceeding six calendar months of age on the
                     first day of the Show.
             NB Minor Puppies are not eligible for Challenge Certificates
      PUPPY          For dogs of six and not exceeding twelve calendar months of age on the
                     first day of the Show.
             NB Wins in Puppy Class do not count as “Prizes” in any of the following classes
      JUNIOR         For dogs of six and not exceeding eighteen calendar months of age on
                     the first day of the Show.
      NOVICE         For dogs which have not won more than three first prizes at any Show or
                     Shows, or a Challenge Certificate.  Wins in Puppy Class are excluded
      GRADUATE       For dogs which have not won more than four first prizes at any Show or
                     Shows in the following Classes: Graduate, Post Graduate, Limit, Open or
                     a Challenge Certificate.
      LIMIT          For dogs which have not won more than two Challenge Certificates or
                     more than seven first prizes in the following classes: Limit and Open.
      OPEN           For all dogs of the Breed for which the Class is provided.
      VETERAN        For dogs of any age specified in the Schedule but not less than seven
                     years of age on the first day of the Show.  When Veteran Class is offered
                     as a Breed Class the award of Challenge Certificate shall take place after
                     the Judging of the Veteran Class.
      CHAMPION       For Champions only.  The winner of the Champion Class will not be
                     eligible to challenge for the Challenge Certificate, but may compete for
                     Best of Breed, except for German Shepherd Dogs.
             Winners of the following OTHER CLASSES are not eligible to compete for a
             Challenge Certificate as a result of such a win:
      BRACE          For two exhibits (either sex or mixed) of one Breed belonging to the
                     same Exhibitor, each Exhibit having been entered in some class other
                     than Brace or Team.
      TEAM           For three or more exhibits (either sex or mixed) of one Breed belonging
                     to the same Exhibitor, each having been entered in some class other
                     than Brace or Team.


                            DEFINITION OF OBEDIENCE CLASSES
      PRE-BEGINNERS OBEDIENCE To compete in Pre-Beginners a Dog must not have won a
                               first Prize in any Class.
      NOVICENOBEDIENCE         For dogs that have not won two First Prizes in Obedience
                               Classes (Pre-Beginners excepted).
      TEST A OBEDIENCE         For dogs that have not won two First Prizes in Test A and B
                               or qualified in Test C. Dogs must have qualified in Novice to
                               enter Test A.
      TEST B OBEDIENCE         For dogs that have not won a total of two First Prizes in Test
                               B or won a First Prize in Test C. Dogs must have qualified in
                               Test A to enter Test B.
      TEST C OBEDIENCE         Open to all dogs that have qualified in Test B.
