Emperor Qin Shi Huang
The PLAN FOR THE GREAT WALL
was hatched in 221 BCE by the first
emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang.
A fearsome warrior, he became
ruler of Qin state, then conquered
the six other Chinese states and
united them into one nation.
