4. Draw a horizontal radius from the centre to the
east point.
5. Draw a diameter from the east point to the west
point.
6. Extend the length of the horizontal diameter
beyond the east point by 3 cm.
7. Place compass point at the north point and draw
an arc from the centre until it intersects with the
circumference on the right of the circle.
8. Place the compass point on the south point and
extend the arm until the pencil touches the
intersect on the right side of the circumference
– you must do this as accurately as possible.
9. Draw an arc from the intercept point until it
passes through the extended line from the east
point.
