Paki ranks 3rd in NASA SpaceApp

This year NASA held their International Space App comeptition
to bring innovative ideas from around the world to their
doorstep, and it has been a prestegious honor that out of 949
projects worldwide, one of top 3 finalist was a Pakistani Duo:
Naveed Ahsan (Pakistan University College, MS IT) and Zaki
Shaheed (FAST NU, BCS).

They made a software called RRC (RemoRoboCon) which is
a software to simulate a robotic arm remotely. The technology
is crucial for space agencies like NASA on ISS (Internation
space station) for doing repair work via robotic arms without
the dangers of sending Astronauts for Space walk. This was a
challenge set by NASA on how to ease Astronaut control of such
arms.

The app uses an iPhone mounted on the hand to detect motion
and rotation with great accuracy and then uses voice commands
to extend claw or grab etc. Without the use of any high tech
motion detection technologies.

All expats have to send money to their home countries, but what is the

no one can predict the future, but one can plan for a better present

currency rate reach high, on that day transfer your money for best
rates.
There is an easy way to get notifications of daily currency rates using
the famous IFTTT website or app. In the “IF” condition select “Stocks”
with action of currency rate then in “THEN” condition either select
email or mobile notification to select the time at which you should get
it e.g. If have made the Recipe already. Just use this recipe to get daily
mobile notification of todays rate.
