FINE ACTIVE CARBON

The low quality Seyitömer lignite and Şırnak asphaltite that can be evaluated by flotation process in order to im-
prove fuel quality. In this study, The washability studies of slimes under the size of 100 micron were carried out with
sellective agglomeration to the carrier active carbon or char during column flotation method for 32-42% Ash, 2,1-6,7%
total S (Lower heat value 1200-3570 kal / kg) of Seyitömer lignite and Şırnak asphaltite, respectively. This study aimed
to determine the ideal model of flotation plant for finer size below 100 micron as slime was examined.
