Expand Water Treatment Capacity by 4 MGD by the addition of Tube Settlers in Insert Picture Here
existing clarifiers. Project will also include replacing existing SCADA system at both
the South WTP and North WTP.

Capacity increase and replace outdated equipment
4. Impact on Operating Budget
Project will be entirely funded by a TWDB DWSRF Loan

Waste Water Depreciation

Project Name: Sewer Line & Manhole Replacement
Estimated Total Cost of Project (All Accounts) $ 750,000
Project Description Manhole Rehabilitation project.
1. Location
Thoughtout the City of McAllen Sewer CCN

2. Work to be Performed
Rehabilitation of approximately 50 deteriorated, leaking manholes througout the City of McAllen
using mortar grout with a corrosion resistant barrier.

3. Reason for Work
MPU takes a proactive approach in rehabilitate manholes before they become structurally
jeopardized and cause sewer backups to the community.
4. Impact on Operating Budget
No impact on Operating budget. Project funded by depreciation account.
