god. This is why billions and trillions of souls are here in
the first place. and with this as the divine objective, you
can easily see that whenever you are involved in a mere
relative part of the absolute whole, as purposeful as it may
be at the time, you will eventually grow weary of it, and
will naturally be drawn to something else even more per-
tinent and spiritually valuable to you. Whether this takes
one day, fifty years, or an entire lifetime is entirely up to
the individual.
4. Q. I know several people who are atheists. Is there
actually a spiritual purpose in not having any spiritual
beliefs?
A. There is great purpose, for all of the varying de-
grees of spirituality exist because of the myriad levels of
soul’s ascending maturity in spirit. We have souls in the
world who are not ready for any form of outer spirituality,
and they need to just experience the world on its own
terms. This is as much spirituality, although in a lesser
degree, as someone who is actively walking a path to dis-
cover god or to understand more about the divine. I can
unhesitatingly tell you that the highest path for anyone
is simply the path which that individual feels he or she
should pursue. If that means no path for some people in
this lifetime, then they should not be on a path, but should
just live out their lives in the best way they see fit. all in-
dividuals have their own calling, which must be respected.
no one should be judged or demeaned because of what
one does or does not choose. This is not as much a moral
issue as it is a deep spiritual insight. every possible expe-
rience is part and parcel of god’s universal body, and
through necessity, each one has pertinent value to the
soul’s evolvement.
