THE TRuE TEACHinGS 2

exception, and sadly not the norm. no doubt, these moral
injunctions and recommendations can pacify the mind and
quell certain disturbing emotional reactions, but it is the
soul that must be addressed, not simply the body, emotions,
or mental states that encumber the soul and diminish
            its luminosity.
in order to attain the Self and God-realized states,
the recommended spiritual discipline must address the
indwelling soul and not just the sheaths, or bodies, that
cloak and hide the divine being within one. All Saints and
Masters have unanimously declared, in uncompromising
terms, that the soul is the central reality of the individual.
Therefore, without spotlighting or addressing this spiritual
entity within oneself, all supposed gain through spiritual
practice remains obsolete and the student is actually mis-
led. Although very little is known about the soul and its
location within the body by the worldly wise, the Masters
of Light and Sound do not find these spiritual enigmas
to be mysterious at all. To those who are realized, no un-
solvable riddle or esoteric mystery exists, nor is there any
question that can ever be put to them which is too difficult
to answer, for if it were, they could direct one to the prop-
            er Source.
Once again, the spiritual benefits to be accrued by
embracing the true Teachings of Light and Sound are in-
numerable and truly unparalleled in scope and stature. So
ineffable, incomprehensible, and transcendental are these
spiritual gift waves, that only through experiencing them
firsthand can any type of comparison be made or mentally
envisioned. if pressed to give an analogy of the essential
difference between aimlessly wandering in the physical
and mental states versus consciously imbibing in the soul
state, one need simply compare the state of deep slumber
to the wakefulness of daily living.
