IP PROTECTION ZONES

ZONE 3 | IP23
Outside zones 0 to 2, no special IP protection is neces-
sary, provided no cleaning with direct water irradiation
takes place.
ZONE 2 | IP44
In the areas 60 cm from zone 1, IP X4 protection
applies.
ZONE 1 | IP65
In the wall area of the shower as well as in the tile area ex-
posed to IP X5 is specified for the wall area of the shower
and in the tile area exposed to splash water [max. 50 V].
ZONE 0 | IP67
In bathtubs and shower trays, low-voltage [max. 12 V]
is absolutely required. The minimum IP protection is IP
X7 [protected against water penetration].
