NOT ALL WHITE IS THE SAME

As with conventional LED luminaires, there are also variants
of LED stripes with fixed or variable white temperatures.
Not all white is the same! The decisive factor is the colour
temperature, which ranges from a bright, cold working light
to warm mood and accent lighting. A basic distinction is
made between warm white, neutral white and cool white.
Warm white light, for example, is suitable for the living room
or bedroom, neutral white for bathrooms and kitchens, and
cool white for functionally illuminated workrooms. Those
who want to remain flexibility should look for LED stripes
with warm and cool white LEDs so that the colour tem-
perature can be individually adjusted via a controller. For
this purpose, LED stripes are available in different versions:
1-channel stripes can only display one colour, 2-channel
stripes enable switching between different shades of white.
