                . Marian Altar by Veit Stoß
      Veit Stoß was commissioned to create this altar
       by his son, Andrew Stoß, who was a Carmelite
          prior in Nuremberg at the time. After the
         victory of the Reformation in Nuremberg,
          however, he moved to Bamberg in 1543.
