disk (or elsewhere on the network) that you really do want to be able to
search the good way—contents and all, nice and fast. You can do that by
adding it to your PC’s search index.
Or suppose you’re using enhanced mode, and there’s a folder you don’t
want to include, maybe because you have privacy concerns (for example,
you don’t want your co-workers searching your stuff while you’re away
from your desk). You can eliminate it from the search index.
To edit the list of searched folders in this way, open the Search panel (click
or tap in the search box) and then hit the at the top-right corner (visible
in Figure 3-2). That menu contains only a single command, “Indexing
options.” Choose it.
