you. (New in the May 2019 Update: This option is available in Windows 10

                Home, not just Pro.)

                  Tip
If 7 days is too long or too short, hit “Advanced options.” Under “Pause updates,” you can choose
any time between 0 and 35 days for the update-pausing.

                Change active hours

Click “Change active hours,” then “Change,” to tell Windows when you’re
usually using your PC— for example, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. During these hours,
Windows won’t restart automatically to accommodate a new update. (Yes, it

used to do that. Yes, it used to make people crazy.)

Or turn on “Automatically adjust active hours for this device based on
activity.” That feature, new in the May 2019 Update, uses artificial-

intelligence smarts—based on your PC usage patterns—to choose restart
times when they’re least likely to bug you.)

                View update history

Here’s where you can see all the updates you’ve received—and uninstall

                them if you’re not pleased.
