Taking a Break in a Café
Michael and Ms. Sato have been out on business all day. They decide to take a
break at a nearby café.

Michael: Exhausted, aren’t we?
Tsukaremashita ne.

疲れましたね。
Sato: Let’s just take a break.

Chotto kyūkei-shimashō.
ちょっと休憩しましょう。

As they enter the café, they look for a place to sit.
Michael: Where shall we sit?

Doko ni suwarimashō ka.
どこにすわりましょうか。

Sato: You’d like near the window, right?
Mado no soba ga i’i deshō.
窓のそばがいいでしょう。

Michael: Right.

Sō desu ne.
そうですね。
