               Repeat the drill using the following:
               1. Apo wa ichi-ji desu ne.
               2. Jugyō wa jū-ichi-ji desu ne.
               3. Kaigi wa, hachi-ji han desu ne.

               4. Uchiawase wa, jū-ni-ji jū-go-fun desu ne.
               5. Shiken wa ku-ji to ni-ji desu ne.


               EXERCISE 1

               Say it in Japanese
               You are talking about last week’s meeting. Ask the following:
               1. When was it?
               2. What day of the week was it?
               3. What time was it?

               4. Where was it?
               5. In what language was it conducted?


               Tell a co-worker/fellow student about the schedule.
               6. The organizational meeting is on Tuesday and Thursday.
               7. The exam is either on Monday or Tuesday.
               8. Wasn’t Wednesday the deadline for the English homework?
               9. Chinese, Korean, etc., classes are held every day.
               10. The appointment was for 10:30 before, but now it is for 10:45.



               EXERCISE 2
               Role Play

               1. You are at the registration office. Ask when the Japanese class is scheduled.
                    Who is the instructor? Where is it held?
               2. Warn co-workers that the deadline is approaching. Time is up. Announce it
                    to your group.
               3. You assume that you are off on Saturday. Confirm it with a boss.
               4. Using a world time zone map or the world clock on your smartphone, tell a
                    friend what time it is in different parts of the world.

               5. Using an airline schedule (you can find one online), discuss the departure
