work.
Waitress: Hello (Welcome to our business).

いらっしゃいませ。

Michael and Ms. Sato nod in acknowledgment.

Waitress: How many people in your party?
Nan-mei-sama desu ka.

何名様ですか。
Michael: Two.

Futa-ri desu.
二人です。

Waitress: This way, please.
Kochira e dōzo.

こちらへどうぞ。
What would you like to order?

Go-chūmon wa?
ご注文は？

Michael: Two beers to start, please.

Toriaezu, bīru o ni-hon kudasai.
